SportAccord Convention In Palm Jumeirah Will Target Sports Infrastructure
One of the leading real estate projects in Dubai, the Palm Jumeirah, is playing host to the 2010 SportAccord Convention Program which is scheduled to be held in Dubai from the 25th of April, 2010 to 30th of April, 2010. There are two main topics that are going to be the focus of this convention at the Atlantis Palm Jumeirah.
One of the topics is “Changing geography of Sport” while the other one is “sports infrastructure”. This is a golden opportunity for the countries in the Middle East and the UAE to display their ability and potential in organizing sporting events. A positive impact will open a lot of doors to newer opportunities which can bring in more revenue to these oil rich countries.
The SportAccord is a networking forum which is organizing the convention for the first time in the Middle East. The Dubai organizing committee, led by Her Royal Highness Princess Haya bint Al Hussian, who is also a member of the International Olympics Committee will oversee the various arrangements to ensure the convention proceed without a hitch.
Some of the famous premier sporting facilities in this city include Dubai Sports City, Yas Marina Circuit and Dubai Autodrome.
